New Home For Old Cabinets
The West Wing was full of cabinets and work counter tops when we bought the place. We moved a lot of them into the storage/work room. A new shed at the lake needed a set of cabinets so off to go shopping in our personal cabinet store.
Found these beauties that needed to be repurposed. They will be just what we need in the shed. So excited to get this shed finishsed because then I can clear the big closet in the house out and use it for what I want and not all of the guy stuff Bill has in it. You know stuff like; life jackets, rakes, shovels, extension cords.
I had trouble pulling the cabinet out from the wall. I checked and all the screws had been backed out and yet it wouldn't move. Oh, yeah, this is where the floor safe is. Took the floor out of the bottom of the cabinet and saw how high to lift the cabinet and it came right out. You can see he added the safe at a later date. The concrete has been removed and repoured. We will remove the safe later. I am getting too old to get on my hands and knees to use a safe. It's too small for what we keep in our safe and it is in the middle of the room. This is the only place we have seen any signs of rodent activity and there was a dessicated corpse of a mouse under this cabinet.
