Getting Things Ready

Lumber should be delivered today and the garage framing started. But of course there are things we need to do before that can happen.

First thing is bring in the driveway material. The drive isn't quite ready for this but we need to protect the lip of the concrete from the heavy trucks coming in with lumber.

 We will need another truck load of the material, which is a Hybrid of screenings and granite, but the edge is protected. After bringing in the material we will rent a big vibrating tamper and tamp the dickens out of this and it will set up as hard as concrete but will also let water seep through.

Had to get all the toys put out of sight.

Had to chalk out the hall, the pantry, and the cleaning closet so the framers will understand our plans as well as possible.
