Young Back Hard Work

Today we had our nephew dig a trench. He is really gong to appreciate his University degree after all of this. The dirt is still a little frozen. I really didn't want to do this.

 He dug a line from the Red Barn to the house so we can get power to the storage shed. We need outlets in case we need to jump any of the 4 wheelers or lawn mower, run the air compressor for airing tires and a security light.

We ran the electrical wire through metal piping we found in the attic of the West Wing. We try to not waste any of the treasures we find.This will protect the wire from the environment and any potential digging errors. Since it is going in the ground, it is in a wet area. Electricity and water do not always mix well.
