Trenching in the Heat

Things were so crazy at the beginning of this process that I missed getting a few things  posted. There were no propane lines leading from the propane tank to the house. There must have been a smaller tank next to the residence building at sometime because you have to have heat . Hot water is electric for the moment. We did find a gas line sticking up out of the ground and are surmising that the propane came through there, but no tank. So my wonderful husband, who doesn't remember how old we have become, trenched the line for the propane. Now, most of it was done by a ride on trencher but all the nitpicky stuff had to be done by hand. Such as digging the trench to the West Wing, going up tight to the residence, trenching over telephone and electrical lines. I had our yard hand keep going over to check on him to be sure he wasn't having a heart attack. And why he wouldn't have this young 27 year old do this instead of him I don't know. We pay Steven whether he is working for us or for one of our businesses.
