We have lumber!!! Not much, but at least a little. We are waiting for the garage roof to go on before bringing the big loads in. Since the weathermen are saying snow and bitter cold for the next week we figured Bill could go ahead and get started on some walls. This lumber will be used for the two walls that need to be built in the West Wing to close in the rental storage area. That means the hallway wall going from the garage to the West Wing will go up and one wall of the Trophy Room.
Bill can't get completely organized until he has some walls to hang cabinets and such on for his tools, and stuff. I'm not really sure if walls will help his organizational skills Bill's workspaces are not known to be very neat and tidy. If you may use something within the next year it needs to be kept handy is his philosophy. I usually follow him around closing cabinet doors, drawers, and putting things back where they belong. He says this space will be different. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
Black Friday we went to Lowes to see if there was anything we couldn't live without or needed for the building process. Didn't find anything that day but when Bill was there yesterday he found the tool needed to attach the walls to the concrete floors. You put the nail in the end of this thing and then a .22 bullet into the blue handle, hit the handle with a hammer, the bullet ignites and forces the nail into the concrete. Always a hunter, ammo is never far away from this guy
