This is our version of art work. Bill could be a Picasso.

You mark each piece of flagstone and the adjacent one with a matching  mark so that when you are laying them in the mortar they go in the right place. No matter how careful you are when you pick the stone up and set aside then pick it back up it isn't facing the right direction. These marks get everything back in place. And everything is lined up so that when we go to do the next portion the spacing is correct.
