Yellow is a Good Color
Bill is using his organizational shelving. The top shelf is where he is putting all his cordless power tools. He must like the color yellow. Different brands but all the same color.
Look at how easy everything is to find. No waiting around while someone finds the tools you need. Everything is with like tools. I am so happy!
Keeping Things Organized
Bill is starting to agree with me; that if you are organized you don't waste all your time searching for where you last had a tool. Now that he is building the office he is going to try this concept.
These shelves are going to hold all the tools. Like hammers, scissors, drill, screw gun, and the like. Each shelf will have its own category. He thinks this may be an extreme OCD thing I have, but once he embraces it he will do this from now on. At least I hope so.
This little gem Bill got from Daddy when they moved and it is wonderful. There are holes for the screwdrivers, drawers for little things. It's on rollers so you can move it to where you are working.

Heavy Equipment Yard
Quick before we lose access to the heavy equipment and trucks. We need work done at home and the big equipment will make things so much easier. Off to the pits and quarries to bring product home with the dump truck and flat bed. Drive the Wheel Loader home on the streets to move product and place rocks.
We are ready to leave the rock yard business but not ready to leave the equipment that makes jobs so much easier.
Window Shopping
We need windows to go into the office space. Last fall we bought a bunch of windows so we could take advantage of the energy tax credit. So off to the Residence to find the windows we want.
These were originally purchased to use in the kitchen and the bar. Change of plans and into the office they go.
Lots and lots of light are a requirement. If I have to go to work I want to enjoy the view. These are very large windows and the ones that will be gong on the north wall slide open for fresh air. The office space overlooks the dam and pond. Wonderful to look out from the desk to see.

We Have Power (Almost)
We are using the Previous Owners electrical wiring in the office space. Now that walls have been built and moved we can put the wiring back in place. We are just dropping all the outlet plugs down to normal height so we need to make new holes to run the wire through. He had all his outlets at the 3 foot mark kinda weird looking. The boxes were pulled off then dropped down. I had numbered each of the wires when we pulled them out of the wall to push it back, so we knew which ones went where and didn't have to cut any wire.

Office Space Needed
The rock yard has finally sold. Now, we need to build out our office at the office. The area is cleaned up, organized and ready to begin. First design question from Bill was, "What kind of ceiling do I want?" We are taking the ceiling up to nine feet and I want a cove ceiling. Now he needs to learn a new skill.
First thing is to put an extension to the top of the wall. Then we need to move the rafters up. It is super hot outside and Bill is being a trooper by overworking in these temperatures and then falling into the pool to cool off.
